This song was inspired by amazing memories. Sometimes memories are in danger of being lost and can be replaced with the stark reality of today, instead of thinking of how things used to be. We often focus on how we are right now, rather than how wonderful things used to be.
"Remember" looks back on these memories - playing cards, bodysurfing, late night chats while the records spin - while at the same time struggling with the reality that these memories are not clear for everyone. Preserving them in song is one step in fighting off their demise.
